When an olympic-class athlete comes back from debilitating injury, ranks third in the nation, skis off the side of a mountain and commits to a bone-crunching relationship with gravity, wants to take a break, what does she do? Start the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game, obviously. Running an exclusive events business is high-stakes stuff - as much therapist as impresario. And then there’s the admonition from her attorney to “try not to break the law when you’re breaking the law.”
