The airline industry has become a necessary facet of everyday life; at least until a pandemic brought most travel to a halt. Price competition, fuel prices, labor costs, and equipment costs make the airline business a tough needle to thread while, at the same time, customer experience seems to be a race to the bottom with airlines cutting costs and maximizing profit at the expense of food, legroom, civility and customers’ circulatory systems.
